The General Meeting of 33rd Annual National Bass Association of the Deaf Team Tournament was held at Clear Lake, Kelseyville, CA Meeting: General Meeting Place: Pomo Mountainside Ballroom Date: June 9, 2008 Time: 2:25 p.m. President Mack Wilson called NBAD general meeting to order at 2:25 p.m. GUEST SPEAKER: Ross England, guide for Clear Lake, was make speech last night at Pomo Mountainside ballroom for about hour. LUNKER CONTEST PRIZES: 1st Place: Wade Pendley 2nd Place: Otto Rechenberg 3rd Place: John DuQuin 4th Place: Edward Smith 5th Place: Robert Wagner TOURNAMENT RULES: Scott Hostetler described about tournament rules at registration room yesterday at ballroom. TREASURER’S REPORT: Treasurer Dave Coles reported Dennis Bacon, MO, Alan Rork, IN and Ronald Stanford, OK, audited and approved NBAD financial report from September 2006- October 2007. 2009 GENERAL CHAIRMAN: Scott Hostetler explained about launch time will start on Tuesday following number laminator start with 1 to 38 boats. Also explained where the exact location for inspect for boat before launch at 6:00 a.m. BASSMASTER AWARD: Executive Board John Coggins-Peckham explained how NBAD choose and present the Bassmaster Award. SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD: Former President Alan Rork explained how NBAD choose and present the Sportsmanship Award. TOP 6 TEAM CONTEST AWARDS: Vice President Scott Hostetler explained to make sure they understand that each angler is require to choose at least one (1) affiliated club for the Robert Southwell Top Six Awards. SPECIAL PRIZES: No comment PUBLICITY AND SALES: Publicity Director Patricia Wilson explained about the NBAD stuff and where the place will be on sale. 2009 GENERAL CHAIRMAN: John Embree is speaking for General Chairman David Couch, who he was not present and explained that he already set up for flyers at the table in Ballroom. You may get all information from this flyer after the meeting is over. Also it is about less than 1 mile for campground from Headquarter.
