Day 2 Results

The National Bass Association for the Deaf 40th Anniversary Championship event hosted for day two with a perfect weather with cloudy day all the morning and partly sunny day during the afternoon. All 38 NBAD teams, each team consisting of 2 anglers, arrived at Oneida Shores County Park between 5:00 am and 5:45 am on the second day. The 38 teams were divided into 2 groups for take-off. The first group consisted teams 1 through 17 and the second group were the remaining teams from 18 through 37.

All NBAD teams returned to the launch site at Oneida Shores County Park for the 3:00 pm check-in time. With today’s favorable fishing conditions of west wind between 9 to 12 mph, all of anglers were excited to weigh their bass. A total of 28 five-bass limits were caught consisting of approximately 75% smallmouth bass and 25% largemouth bass. A total of 149 number of bass that all boaters caught fish and its total weights 421.71 lbs. The following results show the list of the top performers;

Daniel Duckwall and John Forinash took day 2 lead with a weight of 17.11 lbs and day 2 big bass with a weight of 4.92 lbs.
Leo Dignan and James Dignan took second place with a weight of 16.32 lbs.
Scott Hostetler and Otto Rechenberg took third place with a weight of 15.50 lbs.

Teams standing in 4th to 6th have approximately a 15 lb bag and teams standing in 7th to 16th place have approximately a 14 lb bag.
During the banquet the President, Mr. Brett Ketchum give his warm welcome all anglers and give some presentation to honor the history of NBAD to celebrate 40th Anniversary. They enjoy their delicious dinner. We would like to thank NBAD committee for their hard work for NBAD anglers’ events. Day 3, final day of the NBAD 40th Anniversary Championship event will host on Thursday morning at 6:00 am.
